Country's most innovative Tv channel Samaa Tv starts a brand new show
iSamaa based on its initiative iSamaa.tv (powered by SeenReport). After many
months of successfully featuring Citizen generated content (mainly Pictures
and Videos) in Shows like Sheher Sheher Samaa and Samaa Metro the channel
took the initiative to the next level by giving people their very own show
where citizen voices and perspective matter the most.
All you have to do is log on to isamaa.tv and send in pictures and videos.
You can highlight any social, political issues, corruption, injustice, funny
incident, success stories or great things about your cities and Samaa will
air it for you.
The best part is if your story gets selected as the first headline you get
Rs. 25,000 cash and if its a headline then you get Rs. 5000 cash. All the
aired stories also get a gift hamper. This kind of initiative shows the
seriousness of a news organization in actually empowering people. With
SeenReport's technology to bridge the gap between people and media, and
Samaa's zeal for empowering people, its beginning to show that citizen
journalism, modern media or innovative journalism can really bring a social
revolution. Media and people can collectively improve society, uproot
corruption, promote positivity and sometimes bring a smile on your face
while doing so.
